In the beginning...
I fell in love with photography back when I was nine years old with my first 110 film camera. It didn't take long for me to realize the power of a photo and how it was able to show others what I saw and how I could share memories with everyone. I was hooked. Throughout high school and college, my friends affectionately nicknamed me "Shutterbug", and would joke that they never knew what I looked like anymore because there was always a camera up to my face.
Present day...
I now have my own family and enjoy countless days of watching my son grow up through my lens. As he has grown, so has my experience in photography and how I view life and each precious moment, the interaction between him and the world around. I especially love to photograph children and pets--their spirit is so pure and they truly live and enjoy each day.
I started shooting weddings for friends and family as wedding gifts and soon thereafter began getting referrals. It seemed like my business started without me! :) So...to catch up, I am officially kicking off my business this year and hope that you will allow me to join you in capturing your life and memories in photos.
